:: WHERE AND WHEN ARE EVENTS? ::
Our events are monthly, though sometimes more frequent. We host each event at a different location mainly throughout the New York Metro area – though we do travel and have hosted events in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Napa and Burlington, VT. Loft-spaces, spacious apartments, galleries, roof-tops and found spaces – unconventional locations set the stage for the atmosphere and aesthetic of what we look to achieve.
:: FORMAT ::
Typically, our tastings are standing and wines or cocktails are paired with passed plates. Live music underscores the evening. Readings from The Great Gatsby? Absolutely, Old Sports. And occasionally we’ll partner with a supper club for a sit-down meal. Self-Appointed Master Sommelier, Jonny Cigar, hosts each event and introduces spotlighted guests through Noble Rot Talks, a podcast series that takes place at the start of each event. In return for full pours we expect a little entertaining reciprocation: witty banter or impress us with how little or how much you know about wine.

Invites typically are emailed two weeks prior to an event – don’t hold us to it. A secure Eventbrite payment is needed to confirm your reservation. The exact location is revealed the day of each event. Payment is refundable up until 96 hours prior to the event. Prices range and number of spots vary depending on the caliber and quantity of wine being served.
